South Coast Fencing Center is home to the largest fencing center in Orange County. The center is committed to developing successful athletes in a positive training environment. We have introductory programs for those who want to try out fencing for the first time. We offer intermediate programs for those looking to expand and develop their techniques. Competitive programs are available for those interested in competing at the regional, national and international levels. We welcome students from the ages of 7 and up, offering both group and private instruction for all experience levels.
SCFC is a member of the United States Fencing Association (USFA) and was founded in 1999. We are active at the comp
etitive level, regularly fielding athletes at North America Cups and National Championship events (see our Competitive Results section). We have a 5,400 square foot facility, with over 3,600 square feet of
fencing floor on two levels. Ten fully electric strips are available to the fencers. Membership amenities include weights and

Conditioning Program Tue/ThuSCFC is very happy to announce a new Conditioning Program at the center on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This hour long program is being run by Mark Kirsch of Mariner's PT. Mark is an experienced physical trainer who has worked extensively with athletes of all levels. He is currently the PT for the US Soccer Team and has over 10 years experience working with our fencers at his facility. For 2013, the Conditioning Program will meet from 7-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We encourage all of our fencers to become active in this essential program. The improvements that fencers will see in their results - as well as their overall fitness levels - will be dramatic! |
