South Coast Fencing Center is home to the largest fencing center in Orange County. The center is committed to developing successful athletes in a positive training environment. We have introductory programs for those who want to try out fencing for the first time. We offer intermediate programs for those looking to expand and develop their techniques. Competitive programs are available for those interested in competing at the regional, national and international levels. We welcome students from the ages of 7 and up, offering both group and private instruction for all experience levels.
SCFC is a member of the United States Fencing Association (USFA) and was founded in 1999. We are active at the competitive level, regularly fielding athletes at North America Cups and National Championship events. Our coaching staff and students include Olympians as well as former World Cup finalists, members of the US National Team and national champions.
We have a 5,400 square foot facility, with over 3,600 square feet of fencing floor on two levels. Ten fully electric strips are available to the fencers. Membership amenities include weights and gym equipment, lockers, practice targets, a study lounge for parents and kids, rental gear, a full-service armory with repair staff on site and a store for new fencing equipment.

3 Weapon "C" & Under plus Y14 Foil at SCFC this weekend
This weekend, SCFC will be hosting a USFA sanctioned tournament at the center. On Sunday, October 26th, there will be "C" & Under events in all weapons plus a Youth-14 mixed foil event. TOP 8 RESULTS
Congratulations to Thibaud, who took GOLD in Senior Mixed Epee at the Oct 19th Orange Coast Division Open. Thibaud earned his B2014 rating in a field of 30 competitors. In Senior Mixed Saber, Phillip and Bruce took 6th & 7th, respectively.
On Saturday, Anthony took BRONZE in Youth-12 and Zach rounded out the top 8 (8th) out of a field of 23 competitors.
Closed for Halloween Night
The center will be closed on Friday, October 31st, in observance of Halloween. We wish all of our fencing families a safe and happy evening of trick or treating! The center will be open as usual on Saturday, November 1st. Happy Halloween everyone!
