The South Coast Fencing Center has been home to Olympic style fencing training in Orange County since 2002. We teach all weapons and welcome all ages. Whether you are completely new to the sport of fencing or are looking for a competitive home, we offer a wide variety of programs to fit your needs and a diverse coaching staff that is ready to work with you.
We maintain a focused and positive training environment with an emphasis on long term development of our athletes. We are happy to meet with you to find out out we can best help you reach your goals. We offer trials classes in all of our programs so that you can meet the staff and other students to make sure it is a good fit for you.

Our Background & Philosophy
The South Coast Fencing Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 with the goal of providing an extraordinary training experience in a positive and focused learning environment. The Center offers instruction in foil and epee at all levels. Our coaches have extensive experience at both the national and international levels and are experienced in developing and fostering talent in every student, regardless of their background.

Orange Coast Division Tournaments
September 1, 2024
SCFC will be hosting a series of Orange Coast Division sanctioned foil tournaments this season. These include mixed foil events in the following age categories: Youth-12, Youth-14, Junior, Senior and Veteran.

SCFC will be hosting a friendly foil tournament with Gryphon and Poly

The Center will be hosting an inter-club unsanctioned friendly tournament between our club, Gryphon and Poly on Sunday, September 15. Please see AskFred.net for details on this great event!
